Mooring project installed at Turkmenbashi Oil Terminal

Last week, our engineers visited Offshore Oil Pier No. 3 in Kenar, Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan to complete the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning of our latest mooring project.

This project includes:

• ✅ 12 custom-designed 40-ton Quick Release Mooring Hooks
• ✅ Integrated capstans
• ✅ Remote control system for easy and safe operations
• ✅ Mooring Load Monitoring for better safety and performance

Offshore Oil Pier No. 3 is part of the Kenar Oil Terminal, an important export hub for Turkmenistan’s oil. The terminal has two berths and a 7-kilometre canal, which can accommodate up to four vessels at once.
