350T Mooring Hook for FSO Nigeria

A new project completed at our factory: a red-painted 350-ton Quick Release Mooring Hook, ready for shipment to a respected offshore client in Nigeria. The unit will be installed on a Floating Storage and Offloading unit (FSO) and used during tandem offloading operations, where oil is transferred from the FSO to a shuttle tanker.

Engineered for performance and safety

This heavy-duty hook is designed for challenging offshore conditions and includes two key safety systems:

• A Mooring Load Monitoring System for continuous insight into mooring line tension.

• A Remote Release System for safe and controlled hook release from a distance.
  

The red coating ensures high visibility and enhances safety during operation and inspection.

Delivery and deployment

The system is now fully assembled, tested, and prepared for transport. Once on-site, it will be installed and commissioned for use in daily offshore operations.
